Writer / Producer / Mixer / Engineer

John Foyle is a British writer, mixer and producer based in West London. He began his career as an intern working at Damon Albarn’s Studio 13 where he assisted on sessions including Bobby Womack, Blur, Gorillaz and Damon Albarn’s debut solo album ‘Everyday Robots’.

John started working at XL Recordings in 2012 where he designed and began managing Richard Russell’s private studio. Whilst running this studio full time, John gained recording, production and mixing credits whilst working with Ibeyi, Sampha, FKA Twigs, Giggs, Mark Ronson, Jai Paul, Gorillaz and Richard Russell’s Everything is Recorded.

Since leaving XL John has established himself as a freelance mixing engineer, producer and writer having worked on a number of different projects:
