David Holmes

David's new solo album 'The Holy Pictures' is due for release in September with the single 'I Heard Wonders' preceding it, both on his own imprint 'Canderblinks', a subsidiary of Mercury Records. He recently worked on the soundtrack for Steven Soderbergh’s ‘Ocean’s 13’ along with composing the soundtrack for the film ‘Hunger' directed by visual artist Steve McQueen. His prolific film soundtrack compositions include ‘Out Of Sight’, ‘Buffalo Soldiers’, ‘Resurrection Man’, as well as ‘Ocean’s 11’ and ‘Ocean’s 12’, both of which won the BMI Film Music Award. David has released mix albums ‘Essential Mix’, ‘Holmes On The Decks’ and ‘Come Get It I Got It’, and as a remixer has reworked tracks by U2, Primal Scream, Manic Street Preachers, St Etienne and Doves. David released his first solo album ‘This Film’s Crap Let’s Slash The Seats’ in 1995. His second album ‘Let's Get Killed’ featured recordings of people talking in the streets of New York, and the album's first single, ‘My Mate Paul’ was a big commercial success. Albums ‘Stop Arresting Artists’ and ‘Bow Down To The Exit Sign’ followed, and he worked with four other bandmates on ‘David Holmes Presents The Free Association’. Other productions include Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Manics, Primal Scream and Joyzipper.

Andy Barlow

For nearly 10 years, as the musical half of the duo Lamb, Andy cultivated one of the richest and most innovative sounds in contemporary music producing/co-writing all four Lamb albums ‘Lamb’, ‘Fear Of Fours’, ‘What Sound’ and ‘Between Darkness & Wonder’ including singles ‘Gorecki’
and ‘Gabriel’ plus ‘Back To Mine’ Lamb compilation and Lamb best of ‘Best Kept Secrets’. Andy also produced Hip Optimist album ‘Brassic Beats’, remixed Placebo’s ‘Special K’ as well as writing for TV/film/Ads. Andy co-wrote and produced/mixed the Fink album ‘Distance & Time’ for Ninja Tune and has set up his own studio in Dublin. Recently co-written with Pete Lawrie and Lisa Mitchell. Currently writing and recording with his new band Lunaseeds and working with Damien Rice.

Leo Abrahams

On the back of two solo albums Leo released ‘The Unrest Cure’ on David Holmes’ label Canderblinks through Mercury Records UK. The album features vocalists including Ed Harcourt, KT Tunstall, Merz and Brian Eno. To date Leo has contributed musically to over thirty albums. He has worked extensively with Ed Harcourt playing guitar and arranging strings on a number of his albums as well as numerous other artists. He has worked with Brian Eno, David Holmes, including work on Holmes’ soundtrack for ‘Oceans 12’, Nick Cave, Marianne Faithful and Imogen Heap. He is currently writing with Beth Rowley and working on various film soundtracks with David Holmes. Leo has recently signed a deal with Peacefrog Publishing.
